A Super Spanking by Louisa Bacio

About the Book
This is a nice touch on a BDSM style short story.  Who doesn’t like a story that has spanking in the title.  You know you will have a little redness somewhere in the story.

Good
The short story tells of a young woman in her early twenties, who is ready to leave her house of father and three brothers.  Don’t worry not going to give away the whole story as you can read how she is able to move from being the baby of the family to becoming a woman.  Also, I want to add kudos to Louisa, for the safe sex part of the story.  She added something that gets overlooked in a lot of stories, in my opinion.

Bad
The following is my opinions and should be taken with a grain of salt.  It starts with a type of predictability but it does move into a story that changes direction and offers you a twist.

Review Rating
I use three ratings
Read NOW: Pick it up now and read.
Put it in the stack: This represents the stack of books you have that are not a priority.
Put on the bookshelf: Every story should be read.  These sit on your bookshelf and sometimes you have nothing in the stack, so you go to the bookshelf and pull it out.  A bad book is better than good tv.
This book receives a Read Now, which would be the equivalent to 5 star for those who are wondering.  It offers great character development and a great storyline.  Read this story and it will make you want Louisa to give you more.

Enjoy your day and read as you will have a new story to live in. X

Nimpentoad

"The unusual hero of the storyThere are tales of Goblins riding scorpions, Nimpentoads battling Orcs, and giant Wolves among their journey."-Five star review.

Authors: Henry, Josh & Harrison Herz
Art by: Sean Eddingfield and Bill Maus

Important characters for the wee- ones reading this fantastic book, Nimpentoad the unusual “hero” of this story is well written. Has a voice that you really don’t read too often. He is a Nibling, a creature who is small, short and “weak” at least that is the authors description of what a Nibling is. But Nimpentoad is far from weak in this story. He is a delightful little creature who brings back the child in all of us. This story will intrigue even the adults. I was told from the author that this was meant for children ages 5-10 but I think with the use of character development and such beautiful illustrations I truly believe that adults would love this story as well.

Okay so enough about the adult side of it. In the Grunwald forest there is a magical world that has been created by Henry, Josh & Harrison Herz. Once you step into this world you are entranced by the creatures. There are tales of Goblins riding scorpions, Nimpentoads battling Orcs, and giant Wolves among their journey. The setting is vividly written and draws you into the story and into this magical world that has been dreamed up by these fantastic writers. If you are looking for a new kind of story to read to your children this would be that story. I highly recommend this book. Nimpentoad is a new “hero”. I recognize that we all should have heroes, but they do not all wear capes and in this case he is short, small and cute. I give this book a five star rating. Pick up this book and read it to your children tonight. In fact pick it up for yourself as well. Escape for a while and remind yourself why you love reading in the first place.

Myrtle Mae & The Mirror in the Attic.

This book starts off fast. You are taken into the world of "Mae's" from the beginning. What's a Mae you ask? Well you will have to read the book.
The book takes you on a wonderful journey that seems a bit familiar, yet comfortable, which the young adult and young at heart audience will like.
When I began this book I was excited to read it and now I know why. Joe has managed to capture a story that will enthrall you and has painted a wonderful picture in vivid detail in this world on the other side of the "veil".
This magical story combines Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland, and Narnia all in one book.
I give this magical, well written story a 5 star rating as the story has a great flow and leads you into this world  that Joe Egly has written. Definitely worth the read. Pick up your copy of  this INDIE AUTHOR'S book.

About the Book
Upon getting this assignment and I read the title, the first thought was “Oh Goody” Alice is going to be a naughty girl, and can I get Little Miss Muffet next?  I went into the story with an open mind, and as is said a good book starts off slow and builds, oh wait, is that a good book or good sex.   To me the story did start a little slow, but once it got its momentum it did not stop till the final period of the story.
Good
The story was creative and pulled me into it, once it gained momentum.  The author offered just the right amount of descriptions of scenery that offered me the ability to be right there.  The introduction of characters throughout the story offered a new twist to the original.  I was so glad that there were not the same repetitive erotic actions within the story.  The author was very creative and once the rhythm established a great beat it kept me intrigued to see what would occur next.
Bad
I am not sure if this is really bad but it does have a slow start (the use of the term slow start for reviewing erotica has nothing to do with regarding sex).    The one thing that I had a problem with was her sexual naivety with one who went to a university but this is a fairy tale so it should be set with “Once Upon a Time”.  The use of the word virgin came up in the story that made me go, “uh sorry, you are not a Virgin no more”, but that’s my opinion.
